Boo! Halloween is almost here, which means costumes, candy, trick-or-treating and parties. For kids and parents, it’s an exciting sugar-filled day, but most likely bedtime will not be a treat with your kids on a roller coaster of energy highs and lows. Hopefully, your kids will be exhausted from the day’s activities and running house-to-house in your neighborhood, but don’t count on it.

Daylight-saving time officially ends on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2 a.m., meaning this will be your last week – at least for a while – to leave the workplace and still see a little sun. “Falling back” an hour equates to millions of Americans getting an extra hour of sleep Sunday night but also awaking to more sun in the mornings. How might this time change influence your sleep or your overall health?
