Meet Our Sleep Expert: Dr. Christopher Drake

We are thrilled at Sleep Better America to be partnering with noted sleep expert Dr. Christopher Drake. Here is some background on this accomplished professional:
Christopher Drake, Ph.D., is a bioscientific investigator at the Henry Ford Hospital Sleep Disorders and Research Center in Detroit, Mich. He’s also worked as an assistant professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences in the School of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit.
Dr. Drake is a board-certified clinician in sleep medicine and behavioral sleep medicine and is currently funded by the National Institute of Mental Health to study predisposing factors to insomnia. He’s also an active board director for the National Sleep Foundation and chairs the group’s education committee. In the past, Dr. Drake has been an advisor to the World Health Organization and Sleep Research Society.
Dr. Drake serves on the editorial board of SLEEP and Behavioral Sleep Medicine and is a clinical editor for the International Journal of Sleep and Wakefulness. In addition to editorial board work, Dr. Drake has authored numerous industry articles and serves as a reviewer for the National Institutes of Health and NASA.
